Mr. Streeter is a trial attorney representing both
plaintiffs and defendants in litigation matters
involving business disputes, employment practices,
denial of benefits, construction defect, pharmaceutical
and other product liability, as well as general
and professional negligence. He is an "A-V"
rated lawyer by the Martindale-Hubbell attorney
rating service.
Mr. Streeter's business litigation experience includes
general commercial, breach of contract and construction
disputes. He has represented both employers and
employees in disputes regarding wrongful termination,
harassment and discrimination. In the related area
of unfair denial of benefits Mr. Streeter has experience
both involving insurance company bad faith and ERISA
litigation. In a recent case involving denial of
disability benefits, Mr. Streeter obtained a $4,500,000
verdict in U.S. District Court.
In the area of construction defect litigation, Mr.
Streeter's extensive experience includes both complex
and non-complex matters. He has represented developers,
general contractors, subcontractors, design professionals
including architects and engineers, and material
suppliers. He is litigation counsel for a large
southern California developer.In the related fields
of pharmaceutical and product defect litigation,
Mr. Streeter has represented generic drug manufacturers
as well as one of the primary manufacturers of Phentermine
in hundreds of fen-phen cases. Mr. Streeter has
tried products liability cases involving many types
of machine tools and consumer products.
Mr. Streeter's personal injury litigation experience
includes representation of defendants in cases involving
issues of professional negligence including medical
malpractice, premises liability, automobile and
homeowners liability, and the toxic effects of mold
exposure.
His litigation experience includes representation
of clients before the California Court of Appeals
and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Streeter is a member of the American Bar Association,
the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County
Bar Association, American Trial Lawyers Association,
the Southeast District Bar Association and the Defense
Research Institute. He achieved membership in the
American Board of Trial Advocates in 1988.
He received his B.A. degree in 1974 from Washington
State University and his J.D. from Loyola Law School
in 1978. |
